My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Mia, a 1 year old, female, Shepherd/Husky mix and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus.

I can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’m as friendly and playful as they come. I’ve got a cute personality that really shines with the people I trust.

Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed.

Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.

Hope to see you soon!
