Meet Pongo, a classic Dalmatian dad with movie-star looks and an easygoing charm. With an estimated DOB of 6/11/2024 and weighing 50.4 pounds, Pongo is a handsome, well-sized boy who turns heads wherever he goes. He’s people friendly, reported to be dog friendly, and carries himself with the calm confidence of a dog who knows he’s got it going on.

His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
