My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED URGENTLY:  Hailey is a gorgeous little girl, only about 16 months old, who was recently abandoned (twice!). She’s safe with us now, but we need a new foster, or an adoptive home, for her. Can you help?

Hailey’s story: A kind person in Hailey’s original neighborhood tells us that another nearby resident took Hailey in as well as Hailey’s two brothers. But then that person put Hailey back outside... Then, another family took Hailey in with them but dumped her when they moved. Hailey has really been through it! She really needs and deserves a loving furever home.

If your living situation is extremely stable and you love orange cats, this little girl may very well be the kitty of your dreams. Fluffy and adorable — she is as sweet as can be, but understandably she will be a bit reserved initially. Once she trusts and knows you won't leave her too, she will be the sweetest, most loving girl ever!!

If you can foster or would like to adopt Hailey, or would just like more information, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at angusnfriends@outlook.com.

All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California. Angus was an approximately 15 y.o. orange tabby found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. We tried to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and find a furrever home.
