If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Maple is 11 months old, 35 pounds, healthy, playful, and active German Shepherd mix. She is extroverted, confident, loves people, leans onto her person to receive affection, and will roll over for belly rubs. She's current on shots, chipped and spayed. She is very smart and observant, always thinking and trying to figure things out. She learned sit, come, stay, potty-training and crate–training in 2 days! Maple is brainy *and* athletic - she loves to engage, both intellectually and physically.
The right home will have owner(s) with an active lifestyle (outdoorsy, hiking, etc.). Maple can be an only dog but will do well with another dog who matches her energy (Border Collie, etc.). A house without cats, nor *small* kids is best (she's a lover and can get enthusiastic, so she may knock small kids over).
Maple is a happy little girl and well-loved. She's ready to meet adopters who can drive to Solano County. A vet reference and home visit are required.
