Meet Norman

Norman is a handsome grey and cream tabby with gentle eyes and a soft, comforting presence. He may be shy at first, but beneath his quiet nature is a truly sweet soul who loves to cuddle once he feels safe.

Norman prefers calm moments and warm laps, and he’s happiest curled up close to his favorite person, purring contentedly. He’s the kind of kitten who forms deep bonds and shows his affection in the most tender ways.

He will do best in a patient, loving home where he can settle in at his own pace and enjoy plenty of cozy time. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will reward your kindness with endless snuggles, Norman might be the perfect match for you.

*Kittens under 16 weeks of age must be homed with another cat or adopted in pairs for their social development

We ask that prior to arrival at the shelter you please either call or email for further details and to get an application for the pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

When you appointment time has been set, we will have you come and meet your pet.

3.

Take the Pet Home

If all goes well the pet can go home with you the same day.

Additional adoption info

Cats $150.00


All cat adoption fees include leukemia testing, spaying or neutering, entire series of vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at any local Columbia County Veterinarian, a complimentary adoption take-home packet and a carrier.

Puppies (under 6 months of age)................................$350.00

Dogs (over 7 months of age).......................................$250.00

All dog adoption fees include , spaying or neutering, current on vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at participating local Columbia County Veterinarian, complimentary take-home adoption packet and a leash and collar.

All adoptions must be reviewed prior to approval. In order to ensure that every dog and cat goes to the appropriate home, Columbia Humane Society reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption application for any reason they see fit. A home check may be performed in order to determine suitability. Columbia Humane Society's kennels are not open to the public, all applications must be filled out prior to meeting with a pet.

It is our mission to assist the community in the successful re- homing and training of adoptable animals. CHS does not have kennels that are open to public walk through we ask that you either email or call prior to coming to the shelter to meet a pet so that we can arrange a time that we can meet with you.
