My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🖤🐾 Meet Mortisha 🐾🖤
Big girl. Bigger heart. Slightly oversized paws that may gently smack you during play. 😉

Mortisha is a stunning Great Dane/Mastiff mix, around 4 years old and 75 lbs (she’s working on gaining about 15 more pounds—snack donations welcome 🍪). She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on flea, tick & heartworm preventatives. She did test positive for Lyme, but don’t worry—she’s being treated and feeling good! Her adoption fee is $225.

🐶 She’s met large and small dogs and does well, though she can play a little rough and likes to “smack” with her paws like a clumsy boxer 🥊—a quick “easy” and she settles right down.
🐱 Cats? She’s met two and gave them the ultimate insult… total indifference.
🍖 Treat motivated, knows sit and shake, and is house trained with zero accidents.
🏠 Crates quietly at bedtime, loves blankets for maximum snuggle mode, and is picky about toys (she knows what she likes).
🚶‍♀️ Walks nicely after a brief reminder not to pull.
🚗 LOVES car rides and insists on the passenger seat—bonus points if the ride includes a drive-thru treat stop (Marathon is her favorite 😏).

🍽️ No food aggression noticed, though she’s fed separately.
⚠️ Important note: Mortisha can climb out of fencing, so secure fencing or supervised outdoor time is a must.

💖 Mortisha is a loving, goofy, blanket-stealing big girl looking for a home that understands large breeds and is ready for cuddles, laughs, and the occasional paw smack.
