Snootles is a big, beautiful girl with a calm, confident, and gentle presence that instantly puts you at ease. She absolutely lives for belly rubs and will happily lean into you for affection, soaking up every bit of love you are willing to give. She also enjoys her independence and can often be found stretched out beneath the kitchen table, quietly relaxing and watching the world go by.
Snootles gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playful, social time with canine friends. She does best with dogs larger than her and is most comfortable sharing space, toys, and food with them. With dogs her own size or smaller, she prefers a bit more structure around food and high-value toys, which is easy to manage with separate feeding areas and clear routines.
Snootles is still working on her potty training and will thrive with continued patience, consistency, and routine in her new home. She is highly intelligent and observant, and with positive guidance, she is quick to learn and eager to please.
With her sweet nature, affectionate personality, and easygoing demeanor, Snootles will make a truly lovely addition to a loving family that understands her needs and sets her up for success. She is ready to find a home where she can relax, be adored, and continue to grow into the best version of herself. Snootles is not just looking for a house—she is looking for a family who will celebrate her gentle spirit, share plenty of cuddles, and make her feel truly cherished every day.

More about this shelter
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
