My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name Renesmae, Mae Mae for short, and I am a 3 year old spayed German Shepherd born April 20th 2022. Though my beauty will drive you toward me, be known I am a VERY shy girl. Due to lack of socialization before coming to the shelter I am afraid and take time. When meeting me you must move slow or I get scared. Once I warm up to you though I am the sweetest girl with tail wags, kisses and just pure happiness to be around a human. I am treat driven, gentle, and love squeaky toys! When we are outside I enjoy playing fetch and I like walks, but we must start off small and work our way to longer walks. I would do best in a home with minimum noise and where I am the ONLY DOG! I need an experienced adopter that knows the breed well, this is because on my demeaner. If you feel you can give me a great loving forever home, have the time and patience with me and know how to handle me, please come up to the shelter and meet me and fill out an application.
