My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MACARONI, M, DSH, BLACK
BORN-SEPT/18/2025

Macaroni is a darling black kitten with a soft, velvety coat that looks like it’s been polished to a gentle shine. His sleek dark fur is beautifully smooth, and his expressive eyes give him an endearing, slightly bashful look—as if he’s always deciding whether to observe quietly or step forward for affection. There’s a delicate sweetness in his face that perfectly matches his gentle personality.
A little shy at first, Macaroni prefers to watch the action before joining in, but once he feels comfortable, he happily plays alongside his siblings, following their lead with quiet curiosity. Just like macaroni, he’s creamy and comforting beneath that dark, silky exterior—smothered in sweetness, affection, and love. When trust is earned, he blossoms into a loving cuddle companion who enjoys calm play, cozy naps, and being close to his people. Gentle, tender, and irresistibly sweet, Macaroni is a soft little soul who will steal your heart slowly and completely. Macaroni must be adopted with another kitten or young cat, or have an energetic feline friend waiting in his forever home.

More about this rescue

Our main purpose is to save the lives of cats in danger of death, starvation and disease and to educate the public about cats in their homes and neighbourhoods. Some of our rescues are hand-picked from overcrowded local shelters. Others have been rescued from known “dump” sites. Still others may be trapped from lives outside by kind volunteers or families or may be surrendered by families who can no longer care for them for various reasons.
