Meet Mustang — a confident, charismatic 4-year-old who has truly come into her own during her time at the shelter. She’s settled in beautifully and has claimed her favorite throne: the window seat, where she can happily spend hours bird-watching and keeping tabs on the world outside.
Mustang is wonderfully social and loves being part of whatever her people are doing. If she’d like a little attention, she’ll seek you out, rubbing against your legs to politely request some pats. She enjoys affection — on her terms. When she’s had her fill, she’ll make it clear and gracefully retreat back to her window perch. She’s a girl who values her boundaries, and we respect that about her!
She also has a playful streak and can often be found batting a ball across the room, showing off her fun side. And let’s not forget snacks — Mustang is always happy to accept a tasty treat.
Mustang would do best in a calm household where she can be the center of attention as the only cat. She thrives on companionship but appreciates a peaceful environment where she can relax, observe, and engage when she chooses.
At 4 years old, Mustang is in the prime of her life. Cats can live up to 20 years, so adopting is a lifelong commitment — one that brings years of companionship, personality, and love.
If you’d like to meet this social, snack-loving window-watcher, please visit www.sarlnh.org and fill out an online application. Mustang is ready to be someone’s whole world — and she’d prefer to be your one and only.
