Asher is a mixed breed puppy with an estimated DOB of 7/11/2025 and currently weighs about 14 pounds. He’s the little brother of the trio and a sweet, gentle soul who is still finding his footing in the shelter environment. Asher can be shy right now, but beneath that cautious exterior is a cuddly, affectionate puppy just waiting for a place to feel safe and loved.
Asher is a friendly, outgoing, and happy little pup who’s settling beautifully into foster life. He’s making great progress with housetraining and does really well when kept on a schedule. He’s also wonderful in his crate—but he’d be just as thrilled to curl up in bed with his foster parents for the night.
Asher is good with both dogs and cats, and while he hasn’t been around kids yet, he’d likely adore having one of his own. He’s still learning that sharp puppy teeth aren’t for exploring people, so a family ready to guide him with patience and consistency will help him shine.
This sweet boy loves toys, fetch, car rides, a good bone to chew on, and plenty of cuddles. He walks nicely on leash and enjoys adventuring around the yard or house. His foster mom describes him as a very kind‑hearted little dog who loves being carried, plays happily on his own with tennis balls or fluffy toys, and is gaining confidence every day.
Asher is ready to bring joy, affection, and puppy charm to a family who will help him continue to learn and grow.
His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
