My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jane Goodall is ready for happily ever after!
Found as a stray with a flea infestation so severe that she was half bald, covered in her own blood, and anemic, she gave birth to a litter that died right after. She came to us in the nick of time, and Jane was quickly given supportive care and treatment as well as spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, etc.
Even though we suspect she’s 3-5 years of age, Jane has finally been able to enjoy life. It’s like she’s been reborn as a kitten! She looooves playing with everything she can find and running laps around the house at all hours, but she’ll be sure to join her family in bed once she’s done and chirp to them when they wake up. Don't be surprised to find her on your pillow in the morning!
Jane does well with kittens and chill males, but she's not a fan of female cats. She's quite tolerates of dogs and looooooves people. We don’t care what her family wants to donate for her adoption as long as we know they’ll give her the life she deserves. Please fill out an adoption app here: www.tiogacountycatproject.com/adoption

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We focus primarily on spay/neuter and TNR, but there are rare instances where we have cats or kittens in foster care who need homes. We provide all vetting and want to make sure they go to loving and suitable homes for their personalities and needs.

More about this rescue

We started as an organization that focused on spay/neuter of cats to truly reduce the population effectively and humanely. Our goal was to tackle the overpopulation of cats in Tioga County PA at the root cause, which was too many unaltered cats. However, we do sometimes have cats and kittens needing new loving homes, and who are we to not help the best we can?
