My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ken, is guessed to be a 2+ yr old Standard Poodle, and is a joyful, smart, warm hearted, clever boy who is loving learning about all the good things in the world. He is rapidly becoming house trained, though he does wear a belly band indoors, because he does mark. He is learning how fun it is to play with toys and what to chew and what not to chew. While he enjoys a good walk, he is still learning leash manners. He also is happy to hang out indoors with you, and rarely leaves his person's side.
He is a very quick learner who is food motivated and is working on come and sit. He loves to chase a ball, but still learning about bringing it back! lol He is so cute and spunky.
He needs to be an only dog, and he does chase cats. As a Standard Poodle, he will need regular professional grooming. Come meet this wonderful bundle of happiness!

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
