My name is Winston and I'm a male Yorkshire Terrier mix. I'm 12 yrs 8 months old and I weigh 8 lbs. I'm black and tan in color. I'm neutered and up to date on all my shots. My DOB is 04/23/2013. I'm also microchipped,
I'm house trained and crate trained. I am good with other dogs, cats and children. I’m a very sweet, laid back and love to be with my human! I'm looking for a family where someone is home and will love to spend time with me. I like car rides and walks. I do have a heart murmur but I don't take any meds. I also have Periodontal disease and may need a dental down the road. I don't have many teeth left, but I have no problem eating wet and dry food. I have a great appetite! I'm not really a barker, just when you leave but will stop after a few minutes. I also have (MPL) Medial Patellar Luxation but I'm on no medication and I show no signs of having it. I walk and run just fine. I'm just a senior dog with many years left to give someone lots of love.

If approved, you will have a meet n greet with the dog. Adoption fees vary on each dog. All our rescues are fully vetted according to age and deemed healthy.

We are a small no-kill rescue. We want to save the lives of innocent dogs, that have been abandoned, abused, or forced out of their homes, and provide quality medical care and place them into forever homes, and give them a second chance at life. SSCDR will also provide awareness of animal abuse and promoting the importance of being a responsible pet owner, socialization, vaccinating, spay/neuter, training, and good nutrition.
