Howdy everyone, my name is Dash and my foster mom says I’m an “incredible” baby boy! I was born in August 2025 and impounded with a fractured pelvis when I was only a few months old - ouch! I was sooo glad to be rescued from the shelter so I could recover in a loving SCP foster home, even though that meant a month of cage rest (bummer). I’m a resilient little dude and happy to show off my silly purrsonality everyday, plus now that I’m healed I love zoomies and definitely live up to my name :) I get along well with other cats and need to have an active kitty buddy in my future home to help me burn off energy and stay out of mischief :) I’ve met some nice kids and did well with them, I may also be fine around a cat-friendly dog after a proper introduction. I can’t wait to find a fun forever family so if yours has an opening for an adorable, entertaining kitten please keep me in mind!
The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058).
