If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nala turned 5 years old on Dec 1. Shes a Shepard, husky, malamute mix that we got from breeders in Antioch, CA. I call her a shepskimute, her breeders call her an utonagan which is a breed purposely developed to look like a wolf but be friendly and intelligent
My partner, Nala’s human dad, died last year and I can’t give her the exercise, stimulation and attentions she needs. She got out of my yard and attacked a neighbor dog. They called animal control and shes now on a potentially dangerous animal list in Sonoma county for 3 years. If she gets out of my yard again they’ll put her down.
Nala is the sweetest most loving, intelligent dog I’ve ever known. Everyone she meets falls in love with her. She plays hard with some dogs and doesn’t get along with others . She tolerates my cats, sometimes plays with them, sometimes licks them. Thank you
