My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued our beautiful boy, Clyde, from the woods behind our home. Our German Shepherd/Blue Healer, Bonnie, sniffed out Clyde’s, four-month old self from the blackberry bushes. He followed us home and has been part of the family ever since (the last year and a half).

From the beginning, Clyde has been an absolute lover. He’s grown to be a 65-pound cuddler. If he’s not outside smelling the flowers and slurping water from the blades of grass, then he wants to be in the house melting in your arms or lap. He is fully house-trained and understands a wide range of commands. He responds well and is rather obedient.

Unfortunately, we found out the hard way that Clyde is quite nervous around toddlers, and a recent incident has made it uncomfortable for us to keep him given that we have a toddler and another child on the way.

We are hoping to find a comfortable home with loving owners for Clyde, preferably without children or at least adolescent and older.
