August was rescued from the Atlanta Animal Shelter in August of 2025. He was very sick and needed lots of medical care and love. Since then, he has made a major recovery and is very happy pup. He has lots of energy and loves to play and chase squirrels around. He is house trained and even knows a few tricks! He has some resource guarding behaviors that need to be trained through, as well as some other issues such as jumping and barking. He is currently in behavior training for these reasons. He is house trained and can follow basic commands such as sit, stay, and paw. I have also trained him to eat when commanded. August is a great dog, but he needs an owner that can devote numerous hours of training and outdoor activity. Unfortunately, my new job does not allow me the time to provide such care for him. I am unsure how he acts around other animals or kids. He enjoys other adults, however, has recently shown guarding against large male figures. Please contact me with any questions!
