Bella is a 7-month-old purebred German Shepherd with a bright future ahead of her — and we can’t wait to see where life takes her next. Found wandering as a stray in rural Tennessee alongside her sister Luna, Bella somehow landed on the right side of luck when she came into the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue. Of the two sisters, Bella is the more outgoing and confident. She currently weighs 47 pounds and is already showing what a well-balanced young shepherd she is. She walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and rides calmly in the car — all impressive qualities for a puppy her age. Bella gets along beautifully with other dogs, large and small, and is respectful around cats. She isn’t wild, pushy, or chaotic; instead, she’s thoughtful, steady, and eager to please. With positive reinforcement, structure, and continued confidence-building, she will blossom into a stunning adult shepherd, estimated to mature around 70–75 pounds.
After weeks of waiting with no owner stepping forward, Bella and Luna were officially released to CCR, and we are committed to finding them excellent, German Shepherd-savvy homes. A securely fenced yard is required, along with adopters who understand the breed and are excited to continue her training and development.Bella is sweet, adaptable, and ready to learn what it means to truly belong. She and her sister Luna are ready to be home for Christmas, and we would love nothing more than to make that wish come true. If you’re interested in adopting Bella, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
