Mrs. Potato is a sweet senior girl currently at the shelter, patiently waiting for someone to give her the second chance she truly deserves. While she may be older, she still has plenty of energy and enjoys playing and staying active, especially when treats are involved—she absolutely loves them. Mrs. Potato does wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine playmate to share her days with. She has so much love left to give and is ready to bring joy, fun, and companionship to a lucky family willing to open their heart to a senior sweetheart.

Visit us Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM! All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $45.00.

The Chickasha Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Chickasha, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Chickasha and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public Spay and neuter program with OkHumane, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.
We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
