Auto just lost his home 😔 and needs a soft place to land. He’s a 5½-year-old Chihuahua mix who loves blankets, laps, squeaky toys, and staying warm.
He is good with my dog who is a little bit bigger than him. But, you have to establish the hierarchy in the home. I don’t know if he’s good with cats because we don’t have one. With little kids, he has snarled at them. He’s good with my teenager. He’s great with my husband. He’s great with me.
He’s potty trained and will bark and go to the door when he needs to go out. He’s very low-key and likes to lay on the couch next to me or my husband. He snuggles under blankets. He follows me everywhere. He’s a bit of a Velcro dog. He’s very playful and likes to play chase, fetch, and enjoys playing with his stuffed animals by himself.
There I’ve only been a few times when he has come off spicy. I think it’s when he’s trying to be protective of himself. You can’t blame him because he’s in a new place and unsure. He relaxed very quickly… Within a day. And as time goes by, he gets more and more relaxed. He shook for the first day, but he relaxed after that.
He loves pets and snuggles. He gives kisses. He’s very affectionate and sweet.

We will do an over the phone or in person interview with our adoption counselor.

Home Check
We will need a video of your home. We need to see the front numbers of your home, a quick inside walk through and a detailed backyard video.
3.
Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are done at events or at foster homes. These include all members of the family including all pets.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Adoption contract will be completed before dog is allowed to come home.
5.
Pay Fee
Adoption fee is range by the age of the dog.
6.
Take the Pet Home
Pets will only be taken home at our adoption events so all paperwork can be given.

If for any reason we see signs of the dog or puppy not doing well in the meet and greet we will remove them from the situation. Foster to adopt is available for many adult dogs.
