Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***MUST REMAIN AN INDOOR PET***
Meet Lyric — the sweetest song in kitty form.
Lyric is a calm, gentle adult cat with a soft orange-and-white coat and an even softer heart. This friendly boy has perfected the art of quiet companionship — he’s the type who will greet you with a slow blink, settle beside you, and soak up every bit of affection you offer.
Lyric absolutely loves being petted. Long strokes, chin scratches, ear rubs — he melts for them all. He’s not demanding, just appreciative, content to curl up nearby and enjoy your company. Whether you’re reading, relaxing on the couch, or unwinding after a long day, Lyric is happiest simply being part of the moment.
If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will fill your home with peace, comfort, and quiet love, Lyric may be the perfect match. He’s ready to find a forever family who will cherish his sweet nature as much as he’ll cherish them.
Lyric's date of birth is 10/23/2023.
All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee (local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions.
All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:
• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian • Up to date on all vaccinations • Spayed/Neutered • Microchipped • 30-day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.) • 30-day money back guarantee
Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) • If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3-month heartworm/flea/tick prevention • If renting, verification with landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc. • Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility
Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
If your house is missing a sweet and playful kitty, please submit an adoption application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements. For more information about this animal and other please visit our website at fayettefcar.com or contact us at 901/854-2565.
