My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a Maltese and Poodle mix. He is a loving and gentle dog who enjoys playing with his furry pals and taking walks with his humans. He's making progress with house training and working through his crate anxiety, as he prefers to be by your side and doesn't like being left alone for too long. His foster family is incredibly proud of him! With some patience and care, Jack will thrive in his forever home, spreading happiness and companionship to his new family. Jack is young and high energy so consideration should be made for his activity level. He also would prefer no feline friends as he tends to think they are his toys! Although Jack only weighs a little over 20 lbs., he is taller than you would expect. Not sure where those long legs came from!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
