Meet sweetheart Maple! She was a bottle baby who was rescued in the late fall. She made fast friends with her foster parents and resident older cats. She enjoys spending her days racing, wrestling, and playing with toys. Before turning in for the night, she will be snuggled in bed right next to you. She is a vocal kitten, chirping when she wants something, usually treats, or when you move her from her comfy spot. Her purr is loud when she is making biscuits on her favorite faux fur blanket. She has been around older children and other cats and would love to have a furry friend in her new home. She would do well with cat-savvy children and possibly a calmer-type dog with slow introductions.
Maple is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Meet the Pet
During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.
Additional adoption info
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.
