My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gulley and Furn are a wonderful bonded pair who must be adopted together. They share a close, loving relationship and are happiest when they're side by side.

Gulley, the beautiful fur ball, is the more outgoing of the two. He's very social, loves pets and attention, and enjoys being part of the action.
Furn, the lovely tabby lady, has a calmer, more laid-back personality. She enjoys relaxing, watching the birds from the window, and soaking up affection at her own pace.

Both cats are incredibly friendly and can be a bit chatty, bringing plenty of personality and charm to their home. They balance each other beautifully and will make an affectionate, entertaining, and loving pair for their future family.

If you're looking to welcome two sweet companions with an already-formed bond, Furn and Gulley are ready to bring love and companionship to their furever home.

Please submit an application for these two love muffins below!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
