🐶✨ Puppy Update: 50 Cent ✨🐶
50 Cent got a taste of real life for a few days, and he did great.
He played.
He ran.
He slept hard.
He spent Christmas morning with a family and took it all in stride.🐶
He was a little shy at first, but once he found his comfort, his personality started to shine. 50 Cent is the kind of pup who picks his person and checks in often, making sure you’re still close. 💙
He’s in his teething phase (because… puppy), but he’s easily redirected to appropriate toys. He learned how to use a doggie door by day two, does his business outside, and while he won’t tell you outright when he needs to go, the signs are there and he’s well on his way to being house-trained. He's a smart pupper who's a quick learner!
At just 22 weeks old, 50 Cent has now spent 72 days at the shelter, waiting for his chance. He’s affectionate, observant, playful, and has that quiet loyalty that grows once trust is built.
He needs a home where he can keep learning, growing, and belonging. If you’re looking for a puppy who will bond deeply, love sincerely, and be your little shadow once he feels safe, 50 Cent might be the one.
12/15 Update: 🐶⭐Puppy Spotlight - 50 Cent!🐶⭐
At just 20 weeks old, 50 Cent has already mastered one important skill: winning hearts everywhere he goes. He’s never met a stranger, and he greets everyone like a lifelong fan.
This playful pup is affectionate, food-motivated, and always ready to work for treats (which he takes very gently, thank you very much).🥰 He loves a good game of fetch, gets along beautifully with dogs and cats, and brings a little joy into every room he enters. He's an affectionate little fella and possesses all of the qualities that are GOOD about a little young puppy.
His hair is still growing back, but his comeback story is already in motion, and this one has a very happy ending waiting to happen...he hopes. We hope. 🥹
This Christmas, 50 Cent isn’t asking for fame or fortune. He’s hoping for something far better: a family to grow up with, a warm place to land, and people who will love him for the rest of his life. He promises to give his whole heart in return...no royalties required.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.
Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).
