I rescued Pearl from an unhappy home when she was 6 wks old & nursed her back to health from an awful worm infestation. She is sweet & playful, with a lot of energy. She is smart & stubborn, with a touch of sass to boot. She's been a part of our family for nearly 3 years now, & recently graduated from a 6 week board & train program where she learned basic obedience skills. I've come to realize that she truly needs an environment that I'm unable to provide.
Pearl needs someone experienced with dogs that can keep a consistent eye on her, as she likes to test boundaries. She needs a home where she can be active as she loves to run; 2 miles a day is a good start. She needs a home where there are no children or other animals, as she will to assert herself. The trainer she has worked with has decribed her as sweet & "gamey". She likes to cuddle & receive affection when it is offered, but loves to explore the most and is happy independent. A hiking parent would be a great fit for this baby.
