Roscoe is extremely timid. Until he trusts you. If you give the 15-30 minutes it takes to gain his trust, you've got a best friend for life. I took it slow getting him out of his crate yesterday to clean it out. When I finally picked him up, I just let him run in the office until I was finished. He followed me around the entire time. But wouldn't quite let me pet him again. If you corner him, he let's you pick him up as long as youre slow and sweet about it. Today, I bent down, talked to him, gave him some pets, then let him out. Again, he followed me everywhere I went. So I sat down in hopes he would come up to me. And instead of just coming up and letting me pet him, he jumped in my lap. I sat there just loving on him for a good 20 minutes. Just holding him until he stopped shaking. I sat him on the ground to stand up, and he jumped right back up. I think its safe to say, he's going to make a wonderful cuddle buddy. He would do really good with a quiet house, somewhere he can just relax. He is very sweet, and gave me LOTS of kisses. Every time I called him a good boy, I'd get a lick or two as thanks
