Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lola is a 2-year-old shepherd mix with ears as big as her heart—and trust us, that’s saying something. This absolute angel was found at a homeless encampment looking for love, and she’s still searching for her happy chapter with someone kind enough to open their home (and heart).
Right now, Lola is recovering from a mild upper respiratory illness that could be contagious to other dogs, so she’s looking for a temporary foster where she can rest, heal, and be spoiled while she gets better. She’s feeling good, just needs a safe space away from other pups for a bit.
Lola enjoys her long walks and playtime like any young dog, but she also has wonderful indoor manners and is happy to nap the day away once her needs are met. She’d love a yard for sunbathing, but she’s currently thriving in an apartment and will politely stand by the door to let you know when it’s time for fresh air, steps, or working on her tan ☀️.
She’ was previously the only dog in a child-free home, but her gentle, friendly, and tolerant personality suggests she may do well with kids and other animals after proper meet-and-greets. If you can offer Lola a temporary foster home—or you’re already thinking she sounds like your forever dog—you’d be giving a truly special pup the love she’s been searching for all along.
