My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Halo

Female/Spayed
Age:1 year old
Adoption Fee: $145

Halo’s story is one of patience, kindness, and trust. For months, a caring woman watched over her bringing food, offering shelter, and slowly earning Halo’s confidence. As the weather grew colder and Halo began to open up, she allowed herself to be gently touched and placed into a carrier for her ride to WARL, where she’s now waiting for a forever home.

Halo was quiet and well-behaved on the ride and remains a bit shy as she adjusts, but she is a very good girl with a calm, gentle nature. She’s looking for a kind person or family who will give her the time and love she needs to fully blossom.

Halo has only been with us since December 6th, so we’re still getting to know her, but one thing is already clear: she has a sweet soul and is sure to make someone very happy. Could that someone be you?

We have walk-in adoption days on Monday`s, Wednesday`s & Thursdays 12:00-4:00. If you can`t make that, please complete the online Adoption inquiry form found on our website and we can set up a time/day that works for you!

More about this shelter

Since our founding in 1912, the Worcester Animal Rescue League (WARL) has been dedicated to the care of the animals who provide so much for their human companions. Without your support, however, nothing we do would be possible. WARL is a non-profit organization and your donations of money, time, supplies, homes, and love are vital to our cause and the lives of the animals in our care. Our sincerest thanks.
