Meet Mavis, an adorable little dynamo with a heart full of love and a tail full of wiggles! This sweet girl is a true cuddle bug who adores her people and promises to fill your home with joy and laughter.
Mavis is a master of the "belly rub invite" – she'll race towards you, then dramatically flop onto her back, just waiting for those glorious tummy scratches! When she's comfortable, her playful spirit truly shines. Get ready for some impressive "zoomies" as she dashes around, fearlessly flying off couches and beds!
This smart cookie is incredibly food-motivated, making her a star student for training. She watches other dogs intently, eager to learn the best strategies for earning tasty treats. Potty training and crate training are still works in progress, but her intelligence and love for food mean she’ll pick things up quickly with consistent guidance. Currently, she prefers to be out and about with her family rather than in her crate, but with patience, she'll learn to love her den.
Mavis thrives on companionship. She’s an absolute pro at morning snuggles, and once awake, she enjoys playing with her beloved stuffies and chasing balls. She's even great with cats, completely ignoring them, even when they try to get her attention! While she tries to play with bigger dogs, she's currently a bit intimidated by their size, preferring to be the star of the show.
This cute-as-a-button puppy loves to explore with her nose, so keeping tempting items out of reach is key. Mavis is always game for a game, a cuddle, or simply following you from room to room, eager to be a part of everything you do. Your application simply shows that you are interested in an animal; it is not a binding contract.
Meet the Pet
Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
