Lenny is the sweetest little striped, brown tiger kitty. He has a white chest, white feet and white at the tip of his tail! There is a tenderness in the expression on his face and his heart is true. Though he is a bit shy, his eyes seem to say he wants to be loved and love in return. He came into the rescue with his brother, who was recently adopted, and an adult cat, Uncle Lee, who cared for the boys when they lived outside! It was so sweet to see! Now that Lenny's brother is in his forever home (with his friend Lindsay) and Uncle Lee is in foster care, Lenny's little face seems to be saying: “Pick me. It's my turn now!” He will be patient, though, because he knows what's meant to be will be. Lenny would do best with a feline friend. We are a group of dedicated volunteers in Burlington, VT with a focus on rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned cats in our community. We provide safe, loving foster homes for cats of all ages until they are adopted. They receive socialization, a nutritious diet, any necessary vet care (including spay/neuter surgery) and lots of TLC while in our care. We do our best to find the right home for each cat considering their unique personalities and ongoing needs. We also offer resources, advice and support to cat caretakers in our area.
