I adopted Mazie and have been fostering her for about a month. During that time, I’ve learned a lot about her and worked consistently with her. She knows basic commands, has learned patience with food, and has shown steady improvement with structure and routine.
Mazie is approximately 8 months old, and to my knowledge, is a purebred Black and Tan Coonhound.
She is extremely friendly, affectionate, and people-loving, and gets along well with other dogs. Like most young hounds, she is energetic and still maturing, but she has great potential with consistency and time.
Unfortunately, due to a changing work schedule, I’m unable to continue providing the stable daily care she needs. This decision is being made in her best interest so she can go to a home with more time and consistency.
