My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Luca and I'm a 2.5 year old golden doodle looking for his forever home! My foster family says that I've been a pleasure to have around. I'm completely house-trained, which is a huge plus for them! I'm also kennel trained, and have no issues sleeping quietly in my kennel quietly overnight. As soon as they ask me to kennel, I run right in all on my own. Sometimes without even needing a treat for my rather awesome behavior. I do well with other dogs, but I'm really most interested in getting love from my people! I thrive on affection from my folks and am super attentive. I've been around kids before, and I think that even the small humans are great. I can get a little overstimulated by strangers or cars while on walks, but I think that with some training, I could really shine there as well. Car rides don't phase me at all, I'm just happy to be included in the activities with my people. I would say that my energy level is pretty typical for a 2.5 year old. I love to play, but once I'm tired out I'm perfectly happy to just cuddle up. Don't let my size fool you, I was really meant to be a lap dog. I'm here for the pets! My favorite way to burn off energy is by playing fetch! If you throw that ball, I will 100% go get it. I might take a little bit to "drop it" or "give", but eventually I'm ready to release the ball and go again! I know the basic commands like sit and down and am so very eager to please! I just know that I'd be an excellent addition to the right family and can't wait to find my forever people!
