My main challenge is "reactive enthusiasm." I get incredibly excited when meeting new people or starting walks, which leads to jumping and pulling. While I can look intimidating, my foster confirms this stems from high anxiety and a lack of training, not aggression. I just need the right routine! In fact, I have never attacked another dog or cat. My current foster loves me dearly but can no longer safely manage my strength due to a physical disability. I need a special home with an adopter who has experience with reactive dogs and is physically capable of managing my leash pulling.
