Hello, I’m Coco! I’m a charming, 4-year-old blend of Chihuahua spunk and Pitbull affection. I'm a truly loving and devoted dog—my heart is huge!
Quick Facts: 4 Years Old, Chihuahua/Pit Mix, Needs Experienced Handler.
My main challenge is reactive enthusiasm. I get incredibly excited, especially when meeting new people or starting walks. I am very jumpy and can look intimidating, but I am just thrilled! My foster calls this my "reactive enthusiasm."
Despite my strong reactions, I have never attacked another dog or cat. My behavior stems from high anxiety and lack of appropriate training, not aggression.
Why I Need a Special Home: My current foster has tried hard but, due to their physical disability and life changes, they can no longer safely manage my strength and pulling on the leash.
Ideal Home: I need an adopter with prior experience with reactive dogs who is physically capable of managing my pulling. I am smart, ready to learn, and promise years of unconditional love!
