What we know: Transferred from Dixon Animal Protection, litter of 7, 3 female / 4 male, at 9 weeks, not fixed yet, too young for rabies vax.
From the foster: Are you looking for an energetic and cuddly shadow? Tony is your man! Tony is a fun loving and attentive dog. He loves to crawl in your lap to play and nap and loves to follow you around. This little guy has lots of energy and would thrive in a home with lots of walks and another friend to play and snuggle with. His favorite game is to play hide and seek around the kitchen island. Because of his breed and energy level he would do best in a home that is very active and diligent about training.
Tony is super food motivated which will help with any and all training. For the most part, he is pretty good about going on the pee pads but sometimes gets distracted and can forget they’re there. He’s made big improvements in potty training in just a few days.
This little guy is extremely curious and always wants to know what you’re doing. He is true to his cattle dog roots and sometimes can nip at heels but is very good at redirecting to a toy. For the most part, he is pretty good at sleeping through the night but he may need some adjusting if sleeping alone as he really loves to cuddle his siblings.
Overall Tony is the perfect mix between playful and cuddly. He has so much love to give and can’t wait to find his forever home!

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
