Hi, I’m Rosie. My life didn’t start easily, but I’ve shown nothing but strength, sweetness, and resilience through it all.
I was found in a shelter in Turkey, frightened and huddled in a metal cage, missing one of my back legs. We don’t know what happened to me, only that I had already endured far more than any cat ever should. If I hadn’t been rescued, I wouldn’t have made it out alive.
Now I’m safe — and discovering just how kind life can be.
Despite my rough start, I’m a brave, outgoing girl who settled into foster care right away. New spaces don’t scare me — I’m curious, confident, and ready to explore. I may be a tripod, but I have tons of energy and love to play. Wand toys, laser pointers, crinkly things — I’m all in. I’m smart too, and I’d probably enjoy learning tricks if you’re up for it.
When playtime winds down, I’m a total sweetheart. I like sitting next to you on the couch, curling up near your head at night, and I enjoy being held — as long as it’s on my terms. I’ll let you know when I’m ready for pets, and when I am, I soak them right up.
Because I’m very social and talkative, I’d do best with people who are around a lot — a work-from-home human, a couple, or a family who has the time and space to spend with me. I don’t love being alone for long stretches and truly thrive on connection.
I might prefer to be your one and only, where I can soak up all the attention and love — whether that’s with a work-from-home human, a couple, or a family who has the time and space to spend with me. A home with a bit of room (rather than a tiny apartment) would be ideal so I can play, explore, and burn off my energy.
I’m petite, teddy-bear cute, affectionate, and full of life. From a shelter in Turkey to a safe foster home — and now hoping for a forever family in the San Francisco area — I’m ready to blossom into the companion I was always meant to be.
