Meet Kady!

At 12 years young, Kady is a female Wheaten Terrier with a heart full of love and a smile that never fades. Weighing 31 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion — easy to snuggle,  and even easier to love.  She’s also a total lady at home — potty trained, perfectly content to curl up by your feet or snooze in a sunny spot. Katy would do best in a quiet home.

Kady has some vision impairment but that doesn’t stop her from running around outside with her ball or doing anything else she wants to do.  Kady would like you to know that she is really not fond of visits to the vet or groomer but has been successful recently with a combo of meds before an appointment.

This sweet senior girl deserves a cozy, safe home to spend her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. If you’ve been waiting for a gentle soul to make your home feel warmer, Kady might just be your perfect match.

Kady is spayed, up to date on vaccines, flea tick and heartworm prevention.  If you want to meet her please submit an application at www.speakfortheunspoken.com/adopt

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of our adoptable pets are in a foster home, and for that reason an application must be submitted before a meeting can be arranged. Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt it simply tells us a little about you and the type of home you have to offer a new pet.

As a rescue it is our goal to carefully go over your application to be assured that it is a perfect fit for both the pet and you and/or your family. Our foster homes are able to easily evaluate each pet to quickly find out their likes and dislikes which is vital information to a successful adoption.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to do what we can to put an end to careless breeding that over populated the streets and local shelters. Sometimes we come across a pet that has "special needs" and our goal is to educate the public that "special needs" dogs are capable of doing anything you wish as long as you provide the proper training and have the patience needed to coincide with the training. Our inspiration her name is Dhalia and she is a lethal white Australian shepherd that is a result of merle to merle breeding. Sadly 25% of puppies born with this genetic make-up are predisposed to sight and/or hearing deficiencies. Speak! for the Unspoken has successfully fostered, rehabilitates and re-homed many animals both "normal" and "special needs"
