My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nigiri was found on the streets with a family of kittens. Skittish at first but turned out to be super friendly and very hungry! He prefers to be around other cats or people instead of being alone. He would do best in a home where he has a buddy of some kind or a person around often. He plays a little rough so he would need a buddy that can handle him and show him who's boss. He's extremely affectionate and will sometimes nibble you to get attention but that's mostly if he's been starved of attention for a long time. He calms down eventually and loves to just lay on you or next to you. He's extremely outgoing once he warms up to you, which doesn't take very long. He especially loves to play with wand toys.

More about this rescue

Elk Grove Cat Rescue Group (EGCRG) is a small all-volunteer TNR group and foster-based rescue. We are passionate about helping animals finding permanent homes and reducing feline overpopulation through TNR. EGCRG was formed in late 2023 with the goal of helping adult cats and teenage kittens find permanent homes and ending the kitten cycle by spaying and neutering.
