MY RESCUE STORY
I was rescued from a small cattle shed in Sinan, where I had been living with my family in neglect. Thanks to kind rescuers, I was given a second chance at a safe and loving life. Now, I’m learning what it means to be cared for and am ready to find my forever home.
MY PERSONALITY
Hi! I am Yeoni. I am a small but confident girl with a big personality. I can be a bit more assertive than Yeonnam and sometimes try to boss her around, but I also have a very sweet side. I absolutely love food and treats, and they help me warm up to people quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I become very friendly and affectionate. I’m tiny and adorable, and with just a little guidance and training, I have the potential to grow into an amazing companion. I am a Level 2 rescue dog and already do very well with pee pad training.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
· With People: I’m a little shy at first, but I will take treats and warm up quickly, and you’ll be able to pet me. I haven’t had experience meeting children under the age of 13.I can be lifted by placing an arm under my belly and holding me securely.
· With Dogs: I am friendly and sociable, and I will approach not only dogs I know but also unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I am generally more comfortable and positive with dogs of a similar size to mine. If another dog provokes me, I may respond and get into a scuffle, so careful introductions with unfamiliar dogs are recommended. I tend to rely on other dogs, and I feel more secure and calm when another dog is around.
· With Cats: There has been no observed reaction to cats, as I do not appear to recognize what a cat is yet.
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have a moderate energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I usually settle down and rest calmly afterward. I will need leash and walking training, as I am still learning proper manners on walks.
TRAINING & HABITS
I do not guard food around people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I am eating. When I want something, I may show demand barking. I am calm when placed in a kennel. I am trained to use both indoor pee pads and to go potty outdoors.
MY IDEAL HOME
My ideal home would be with a family who understands that I am still a young rescue dog and is willing to provide gentle guidance, patience, and consistent training. A home with another friendly dog would be a great match for me, as I feel more secure and confident with canine companionship. I would do best in a calm environment where introductions to new dogs are done thoughtfully. A family that enjoys outdoor activities but also appreciates a relaxed, cozy home would be perfect for me.
SPECIAL NOTES
To my future family,
I may need a little time and guidance as I settle into a new environment, but I warm up quickly with patience, love, and treats. I’m still learning and growing, and with gentle training and consistency, I will become a wonderful companion. Having another friendly dog around can help me feel more secure, but most of all, I’m looking for a family who will understand me, support me, and love me for who I am. I promise to do my best every day and return your kindness with loyalty and affection.
