(DOB 11/13/2023) Gigi loves playing with other dogs and happily entertains herself with toys, then melts into cuddle mode, snuggling up on the couch and giving the sweetest little kisses. She is looking for a home with another young, playful dog she can bond and chum around with! Her new home should also have a solid fenced in yard; no apartment or condos for this fun and sometimes chatty little bundle of cuteness!
Petite Gigi is a truly special little girl with a heart full of love and sweetness. She may be a little shy at first, but beneath that gentle shyness is a girl who just wants to feel all the love and cherished & spoiled. With patience and consistency, Gigi is already learning quickly and showing just how much potential she has; she’ll be your best friend before you know it. She’s very smart and responds well to routine, reassurance, and positive training as she continues building confidence and getting comfortable with unfamiliar noises.
This sweet girl is doing great with potty training, going out about 4–5 times a day, and she sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She’s enjoying much more playtime mixed with relaxing crate time, and she loves winding down with her people in the evenings. Because she can be skittish and a bit of a flight risk, careful monitoring of doors and gates is important. Want to take Gigi with you when you jump in the car, she’s also done very well traveling in a crate, making her a great little travel buddy for adventures big and small.
Ginger hasn't had an opportunity to meet kids or interact with little people (kiddos) at this time. More to come as we learn more and more about this wonderful girl!
Are you up for a little shy yet spunky girl who is bloosoming into the the absolute best girl, then maybe, adorable Gigi (short for Ginger, BTW) may be your paw-fect match!
Gigi will need to remain on UTI food, and her foster parent will provide the information to her adopter.
As part of Gigi’s $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Gigi, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
