My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flan is a delightful girl with two speeds: she either wants to play with her dog friends or she wants to be right by your side, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. This resilient pup has already been through a lot in her young life, and it’s been wonderful to watch her personality shine through more each day.

Flan seems especially interested in playing with other female dogs, though she can peacefully co-exist with any dog. She gets along well with our other rescue, Nico, showing she can share space with males even if she isn’t interested in active play. Whether she joins a home with other dogs or becomes the center of attention as the only pup, Flan’s adaptable, calm, and loving nature will make her a wonderful
companion.

Quiet and affectionate, Flan has a charming way of asking for pets simply offering her paw to let you know she wants some love. She’s ready to bring joy, warmth, and gentle companionship to the right home.

More about this shelter

Farm and Feline is a nonprofit animal sanctuary dedicated to saving the lives of cats in Eastern North Carolina. While our primary focus is helping cats, we also welcome and care for other animals in need. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets by rescuing, rehabilitating and adoption while promoting awareness about the importance of responsible pet care.

We believe every animal deserves a safe, loving, and comfortable place to call home. With our 40-acre farm, we are committed to providing a lasting impact on the lives of the animals we encounter.
