Nona is a beautiful female kitten with soulful big round eyes that holds a quiet strength and a will to survive.
She had a very difficult start in life. When Nona was found at just four months old, she was severely emaciated and dehydrated, weighing no more than a two-month-old kitten. Whatever she endured before rescue left its mark, but it never broke her spirit.
Nona is a true fighter. With time, care, and love, she has grown into a gentle, sweet girl who is learning that the world can be a safe place. She is naturally cautious at first, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms. Once she trusts you, she seeks out affection and enjoys being close to her person.
Nona is looking for someone who understands that love doesn’t have to be rushed—someone willing to let her build trust at her own pace and celebrate each little step along the way.
Her ideal home would be a calm, quiet household without small children. She does well with other cats, but she is afraid of dogs, so a dog-free home is best.

Adoption Information – Please Read Carefully
Most of Dexter's Kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, SNAP combo tested, and vaccinated according to their age.
Adoption Fees:
$150 for one kitten
$250 for a bonded pair
If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company’s contact info to verify that pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will confirm ownership through public records.

– A stable and cat-friendly home
– A backup plan for your cat’s care if something happens to you

Pls ensure you can provide a long term stable home for your future pet. Have a back up plan if you suddenly have to give up your pet.
Meet the Pet
Most of our cats are in private foster homes. If the cat is on our website (www.DextersKitties.org) that means the cat is still available.
Approve Application
If you own your home pls confirm it matches public records. If you rent pls provide landlord information so we can confirm pets are allowed.
Sign Adoption Contract
Pay Fee
We ask for a donation to help cover fostering expenses. Cash, check, PayPal, Credit Card, Venmo and Zelle are accepted.
Take the Pet Home
Please bring a proper cat carrier with you. Make sure you have a dedicated bathroom to socialize your cat slowly to your home.
