My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.

Meet Cody! 🐶🤍✨

This gorgeous Labrador Retriever has a beautiful cream-colored coat and a gentle, soulful presence that instantly draws you in. At just over four years old and about 70 pounds, Cody is a big, sweet boy who carries himself with a calm charm and an affectionate heart 💛 He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he starts to feel safe, his true sweetness comes out.

Cody walks nicely on a leash and appears to enjoy the company of other dogs, making him a lovely companion for relaxed strolls and social time 🐾🌳 He’s currently working on building his confidence, and you can see how much he appreciates reassurance and kindness along the way. One of his favorite things in the world is gentle pets around his head and shoulders — that’s when he really melts and leans in for more 🥰

If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted dog who just needs someone to believe in him, Cody could be the perfect fit. Come spend some time with him, offer a few loving pets, and see if you’re the one who helps this sweet boy continue to grow and shine 🌟🏡HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.
