Fudge wants YOU to play with her! She may start out as a wallflower, but you can win her over with playtime and treats. She particularly enjoys chasing string and cat wands, and loves to race around and stretch her long legs. Fudge likes a calm environment so she can get her 8-hour naps in, belly-up with leggies stretched out. She's always watching for birds/toys/treats with wide, pumpkin-colored eyes. Give her the time and space to feel comfortable and safe, and she will open up to you. My foster writes: Fudge, like so many of us, struggles with trust issues. She hasn't had the easiest start in life, and is only just starting to enjoy the comforts of life indoors with human company. With some time and patience, you'll get to see the other side of Fudge; she loves to play with cat wands and other dangly delights, and enjoys watching birds and squirrels on TV. When she gets really comfortable, she sleeps belly-up, stretching her little legs as far as she can. Fudge is a cat who likes her moments of solitude, and would be very grateful for window perches, a hidey-hole or two, and a covered litter box. That being said, in her bravest and most relaxed moments, she enjoys gentle scritches on the chin and head. Fudge would do well in a quiet, adult-only home, ideally as an only child or with a cat sibling who can show her the ropes and help her get more comfortable with indoor life.
