Meet Tony!
Tony is a three year old male black cat looking for a cozy home and gentle human friend to call his own. Tony is a true wallflower, content to watch the action from afar rather than jumping right in. Shy at the start, Tony likes to take things slow and build some trust before he`s ready to show off his loving nature. Once he feels comfortable, he loves receiving gentle affection from a familiar face.
We do not know if Tony has lived with other cats previously. While he shows potential, we highly recommend a slow introduction between him and any potential feline friends in his forever home. A slow intro will help ensure that both Tony and his new cat companion(s) feel safe and comfortable as they adjust to each other`s presence.

All of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability.

They will review our adoption process, answer any questions, and tell you more about the animals currently available for adoption at our shelter and in our foster program. If we have a match for you and your family, an appointment will be scheduled to meet the animal.

6 months or under: $175
6 months to 5 years: $125
6 years or older (or special needs): $50
Cats
6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)
6 months to 5 years: $50

Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
Veteran Pet Program: Veterans and active military personnel receive 25% off of adoption fees. Valid military ID is required.

We employ two full-time Humane Officers who respond to emergency calls, investigate animal cruelty, and, as warranted, prosecute offenders.
