Once in your life, you find someone to make it all so real, and when it comes you'll know: you’ve got your forever home! Ever since birth, Trixter and Journey have always been together. This pair went from summer days and nights under the shed tousling in the grass to 9PM laps and zoomies around their foster bedroom having never been apart. Though they'd warmed to human attention and love playing hard with wand toys, they seem to hold a special place for one another. When Journey comes to lay by you, Trix is never far behind. When Trix is jumping and trilling through tunnels, Journey is waiting on the other side to pounce. If they're playing, it's together, and if they're cuddling, it's together.
Trixter, named for a band he listened to during his early days home, is a cautious but nosy kitten who loves toys and treats. Born to an outdoor mom (Cinnabon), he and his sole littermate, Journey, were trapped and brought to LCCR to be checked out and socialized with humans. From the start, it became clear that Trixter was a bit more hesitant. Once the zoomies hit, however, you’ll see what a hurricane he can be! He has the tiniest high pitch meow that he uses while playing or begging for a treat. A person laying down will either become a jungle gym or a cuddle puddle for him! When he’s tired out, Trixter likes to nestle in the crook of your legs and take a power nap. He's doesn't need someone to keep him entertained all the time though. He’s content with being independent, and he will entertain himself. Trixter prefers if you pet on the back and base of tail, though he's warming up on cheek scratches.
Just a small-town girl livin' in a lonely world, Journey took the foster home, goin’ to her forever one! Journey, named for a band she listened to during her early days home, is a spunky, curious kitten who plays hard, chasing down any wand toy that comes her way. From the start, it became clear that Journey was the bolder of the two, always the first to try anything new. If you pick up a toy, Journey will be there with her paws outstretched ready to catch! A person laying down is as likely to become a jungle gym for her and her brother as they are to become the site of a cuddle puddle. When she’s tired, Journey likes to nestle in the crook of your legs and take a power nap. However, she’s just as content being independent and entertaining herself.
All members of their family are food-motivated and will do anything for the right snack; they are currently on scheduled meals. They are being fostered in an adult-only home with other cats and doing well; we aren’t sure how he’d do with dogs or young children as he hasn’t met any.
Their adoption donation is $245 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
