Cinnabon, or Cinnamon Bun or Cini for short, is as sweet and warm as her name suggests! Cinnabon and her siblings were seen outside as kittens, fed by neighbors who assumed they had someone looking out for them. It wasn’t until Cinnabon had two kittens, Journey and Trixter, under a shed that they realized she was on her own all along. The small family was trapped and brought to foster to get them vetted and social with humans. Initially terrified and hiding, Cinnabon began to melt after being reunited with her kittens, purring and rubbing up on everything in sight. She’s spent the last couple months in a foster home learning to love humans as much as she loves other cats and food.
Due to her background, she doesn't have a whole lot of confidence in herself. However, since coming to her foster home, she has opened her heart to humans more than anyone expected, giving plenty of head butts and lying on the bed alongside her human foster family. As a young mother, she’s serious and attentive to her (now teenage) kittens Journey & Trixter, watching over them as they play more than she plays herself. However, her fosters are hoping she will get in touch with her kitten side someday! Cinnabon is a food-motivated girl that will do anything for the right snack, so she is on scheduled feeds to prevent overeating. She is being fostered in an adult-only home with other cats and doing well; she adores other cats and has been always been eager to meet new cats in-home. It's unclear how she would fair with dogs or young children as she can be noise sensitive and shut down in busy environments.
Cinnabon is a great companion cat for quiet, mellower families with other cats who are open to a slow burn love bug. With time, she will continue to blossom and come into her own over time. Loving Cinnabon has been so rewarding, knowing she’d never known love before, and we’d love to share that feeling with you too!
Cinnabon's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
