Oliver Twist is a stray cat who showed up (and moved in!) to my backyard several weeks ago.
This guy has been like the Dickens character he is named for since the moment he meowntroduced himself to me. Young, in great need, and very loveable! I first thought he was a friendly neighborhood cat, but soon realized he is a dependent kitty who cannot care for himself without the kindness of a human. All he wants in life is a safe snuggly home!
I was able to get him to my vet for the neccessities. Oliver Twist is unchipped and tested negative for leukemia and hiv/aids; they also neutered and vaccinated him. They estimated his age as 2 years old.
Important to note, Oliver Twist has not been tested indoors! (My house is already a circus!) He clearly is socialized and needs a family, and he very much wants to come inside with me. I do think he is a candidate for living indoors, but he may need an experienced Cat Lady or Gentleman who know how to help him through the process.
